Emily Bett Rickards was born in July 1991. She is an Canadian actor best known as Felicity in The CW's TV show Arrow. Rickards was born and raised in British Columbia. As a child, Rickards started her career by exploring musical theater. She then moved on to dancing. Then, she wanted to try serious acting. Her high school graduation was earlier and enrolled in the Vancouver Film School, completing the Acting Essentials Course. She auditioned at an open call following the completion of her program. It resulted in her being signed to an agency. Alida Vocal Studio was her home for her studies in Vancouver. Originally, she was signed as a one-episode guest, her rapport with the show's main character Stephen Amell coupled with positive response from the fans and her humorous quips resulted in her being first signed as a co-star on recurring basis for the rest of the first season.
