Anya Taylor-Joy

The birth of Anya Taylor-Joy took place the 16th of April, 1996, in Miami Florida. Her mother is English, half Spanish. Parents are Dennis Alan Taylor an ex-banker as well as Jennifer Marina Joy psychologist. Her father, an Argentinan of Scottish and English heritage is her mother. The mother of Taylor-Joy is Spanish with English roots. The Taylor-Joy family was a household of six children. Four of her siblings are from her previous marriage to Taylor's father. Buenos Aires was her home until the age of six and the family relocated from the city of Victoria in London. Taylor Joy claims that her move to England was extremely stressful. She refused to learn English and believed she would be able to relocate back to Argentina. The school she attended had to be changed to Northlands and then Hill House. Then she enrolled in Queen's Gate School, where she took dance classes and appeared in plays. When she was 16 she left the college and began pursuing a career as an actress full-time. Taylor-Joy was always aware of her desire to become an actor. She was given a opportunity by Sarah Doukas founder of Storm Management, who offered her the opportunity to model.
